June 6, 6:30 PM. Poetry Share. We have so much fun with these events. Read your own poetry or read a famous poem or just come to listen. And that's not all -- we get folks up on the stage and tandem readings and other fun stuff, then we sit around and socialize! A great way to expand your mind and your horizons!

Here's what we're thinking. The web is great, but people are hungry for face-to-face again, meeting their neighbors, doing stuff together -- smart, creative stuff, laughing together, shaking hands -- all that old-fashioned stuff that has kept civilization from crumbling over the centuries.

Soooo, we've made a place where Fort Oglethorpians (and even other people) can do that. Plus we have some really cool merchandise.

We'll be doing workshops in drama, art, music, public speaking, health issues and all sorts of other stuff. Our workshops are not lectures -- they're all about audience participation and interaction! See more in our workshop section.

We have a community service area where folks can get together to create cards for nursing home residents (we deliver them). And we'll be expanding to other ways of serving.

Our merchandise is geared toward two things: Stuff to enhance the imagination and enrich lives, and stuff that really says to someone else "I love you."
